When you visit Weirton, you will see at the entrance of the town the display of some military war crafts honoring the veterans. I am not really sure what the place is called. I told my husband that I really want to go there someday. I was so thankful when he brought us the other day while the weather was a little bit warm.
The place is very neat,a great one actually to walk around to. There is a hall and benches around the park.
These two burritos had so much fun running around the place and checking everything out. You may enlarge the photos through clicking it.
I will post the rest of the photos next time folks. Have a great weekend everyone.

that looks like a great place for family fun Rose, and lot sof reflection too..... when my boys were little we used to take them for a walk a lot too but nwo that theya re grown up they do sports instead and it takes a lot of our time.
You and John are taking your children where bravery and service are remembered. They will have an appreciation for US history because of taking these trips.
We do not want to forget the past...
It is nice seeing Weirton, as I went to college in Steubenville, but graduated a while ago (1977). THe Fort Steuben Bridge was the only way to get to Wertron then. Nice US 22!
What a wonderful family you have! Thanks for stopping by our blog! We followed you and networked facebook followed your blog. We will stop back!
Ralph took me through Weirton on our way to Steubenville!
You found a lot of shadows there at the park.
Your children are so cute!
What a memorable family outing, regardless of the snow!
Wonderful shots. Place is neat and so many items on display.
I especially like the big Enchilada and the two burritos, in the shadow of the machine!
That was a nice day~

It's great that your children could visit this war park so that they can have a sense of history and appreciation of the brave deeds of soldier heroes. Since John was formerly connected with the US Navy, there is an added interest on things like these for his family. At least nakagala rin ang mga anak ninyo after being holed up inside your house for so long because of the harsh winter conditions outside. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.
Lots of sun and big place to run.. Very nostalgic too :) Nice pictures, mommy!
It must've been pretty early in the day for such long shadows to be out! Looks like it was a fun expedition!
A fun place to for kids and grownups to learn about our history.
