Breastfeeding help Moms for their uterus to return to its pre-pregnancy state more quickly and decreases the risk of pre-menopausal breast cancer, ovarian cancer and osteoporosis. And with no formula or vitamin costs, breastfeeding is more convenient and less expensive than bottle feeding.
For me, it is a very special bonding between you and your baby. Its a natural way of immunizing your precious one. It help s to prevent your child from having deceases. Believe me, my kids seldom get sick, they never had ear infection or things like that.
Health authorities such as the Surgeon General and the American Academy Pediatrics agree that breast milk offers superior infant nutrition. In addition, breastfed babies have significantly fewer respiratory-tract and ear infections than bottle-fed babies.
Breastfeeding reduces an infant's risks of food allergy, and initial research suggests that breastfeeding may have a long term positive effect on baby's immune system, intelligence quotient (IQ) and lower risk of obesity, reduce incidence of lymphoma, diabetes and SIDS. (taken from Madela handbook)

Hi Rose, breastfeeding is best for babies as it makes them feel comforted, close to you, feeling your warmth as he or she still new to the world and being cuddled like that makes him or her feel bonded still.
Interesting posting Rose.
You stay easy and have a great week, best regards and mabuhay, Lee.
wow, that's a lot of good benefits! i didn't know that it does something to the uterus though. I've just been told that breastfeeding moms get to return to their pre-pregnancy weight much faster than those who didn't breastfeed.
but is it true that if you over-breastfeed, the kid may have a fixation on boobs? or the kid may be overly dependent on the mother? :o
I agree with you that breastfeeding is the best. Just most modern mother don't practice it as much as it used to be
You are stating what our forefathers and mothers knew instinctively. Except in the very rare cases, even the old fashioned GPs and modern pediatricians too recommend that the child be breast fed. Our son was till he moved to solids completely, and he has grown up to be a strapping young lad with very little illnesses when he was growing up.
>Hi Lee, thanks for popping over. Yes, breast feeding is a close connection to Mom's that's why I couldn't understand those women who thinks that breast feeding is a hassle.... Where in reality its a very important thing to be close to your child.. I love it!
>Hi Kwagoo, I disagree with the fixation on the boobs thing and dependency? Nahhh it just makes your baby so attached and close to you.. Yeah, it does help with the uterus.
>You're right Borneo Falcon.. Some woman think that if they breastfeed, it will affect their beautiful figure, what they don't realize is that their baby is benefiting so much from it
>So true rummuser.. My two kids seldom get sick and when they do, its those kinds that can't be avoided. Mothers should realize that breastfeeding is the best when it comes to baby's growth..
keep this photo mads for ej's reference in the future...AS MAMA'S TANDEM ..hehe.
I've been there; all my 4 children was on breast feeding. Anyway, do check out my blog at www.arzed.blogspot.com
i will breastfeed my baby if i can have one...my mother always told me that since it somehow gives bonding between mother& the baby...than just gives a bottled milk;);)
dapat they shouldn't think about selfish thoughts na kasi health na ng baby natin ang pinaguusapan kya nga when I had my chance I gave Josh everything hangang sya na mismo ang umayaw c: kasi that is important for them c: I love my baby that is why I gave him my milk c; the best for him diba c::)
i was wondering who was misty! hahaha! and i see a breastfeeding mom in a post when i opened the link.. it is you pala rosie rose.. anyways, this one is so motherly post huh!
i recognized it was you when i say in the lower post the image of your process. ^^
such a touching moment..yes,u r right..its the bonding between mum and baby.. keep it up..
They used to say breast milk is the breast milk for baby.
I breastfed my baby for only 2 months and no more. I wanted to breastfeed him more but whatever I do, I didn't have enough milk to give. Then 2 months after delivery I was back to school. I would leave him milk before I go. I was only away for few hours but not whole day.
My hubby who took his paternity, took a leave and he took care of our baby while I was away.
But one thing I can say, our baby who is now 3 years old is healthy. he seldom got sick.
>Thanks Arzed for dropping by. I'm glad to know that you're passionate with breastfeeding too.
>Well kung ano man mga reasons nila I respect them na lang.. They have their own minds hehehe.. But I agree with you Iceah, its very important that you breastfeed because it really help on baby's health..
>When I was still a student assistant kasi Rogue, my immediate boss used to call me misty which i hated before hahaha...
>hi claire I tried weaning him when he was 22 months old, but he don't wanna give it up..
>Okay lang yun Ate Weng, pag ala ka talagang milk, there's no choice.. Buti na lang mabait si hubby mo.. Ako madaming milk lol.. kaya kahit ngayon dumedede pa rin anak ko..
>
Breast milk is still the best milk for babies.
Breast milk is still the best milk for babies.
tama ka, breat feeding is good for the baby as well as for the mother, too bad i tried breastfeeding Jacob but didn't have milk for him :-)
So what happened to my uterus because I didn't breastfeed my baby? Waaah.
>I agree nanay Belen, its a natural immunization we could give to our kids..
>Hello tCes, I understand your situation, some Mom, don't have the capacity to breastfeed because they don't have supply of milk.. I am so lucky to have plenty..
>Hi Umma, its no big deal with uterus, as long as you do regular exercise it will resume to its original shape in time...
I agree w/breastfeeding... i breastfed all my kids, aside from the bonding and health benefits, it was so convenient, no bottles, no warming up, it's natural and no expense at buying milk.
Yes, I do believe that breast feeding are better for babies than the bottled ones. Though I don't have a child yet, I plan to give my child the longest breastfeeding time possible. :)
Dropped by, hope we can be good friends here mam. :)

breast milk is the best for baby!
Thanks for this informative info Rose.I salute you mommies for doing the breastfeeding for your kids. Mas maganda talaga ang paglaki ng bata pag na breastfeed ng mommy.
I still breast feed my almost three year old son...i weaned my daughter only three weeks ahead of my son's birth.....health benefits are undeniable and the kind of bonding it offers is uncompareable.....very nice post, thanks for sharing.
Thanks for clearing up the air (for me) I always thought that breastfeding was better but this week I've watched a show telling us that formula is way better.
Coming from you and all your expreiences, I BELIEVE YOU.
very informative!
I agree with you bakla, breast milk always the best for babies talaga. Bilib naman ako sayo bakla you really took pics ofyou breast feeding huh, thats a good remembrance for motherhood, hindi baklahood hehehehe.
Btw, Im glad john is okay now bakla. lets pray for his fully recovery thouh. I was worried too when i saw your YM, but I was already logged out and ready for bed when I saw it so, hindi nlng ako nag iwan ng mensahe at that time, the next morning na ako nakiusyoso hehe.
Maski ako bakla I always pray that nothing would happen, my gosh its one of my fear. Hope everything will be fine bakla. You take care and may god always give you and your family a good health. Godbless!
I agree with you Rose about breast feeding...pero di ko nagawa sa 2 kids ko kasi wala akong milk..hehe.
BTW. Good to hear at okay na si hubby mo. We'll keep on praying.
Ingat kayo palagi jan..
Like mami shy this pic is a good remembrance...
Ako din, I didn't have the luxury for breastfeeding because NICU visiting hours are limited so I just pumped my milk... by the time na nakauwi si Andrea sa bahay she is used to the bottle already... foreign na para sa kanya ang dede ko lol... siguro naisip nya bakit biglang lumiit ito!!!! hahaha
My two daughters are breasfed and I can really say that they're just perfectly healthy and the bondings that we got from breastfeeding is great!!
yah!pero kami lahat nang sisters ko wla talagang lalabas.good thing that sa second baby namin nang younger sister ko we use the avent na breast pump pero kunte lang maextract at until one mo. lang.
I so much agree... as much as i wanted to breastfeed Anzu til 2 yrs, di na pwede.. wala na lumalabas since 4 months nya.. but still so glad til now di pa sya nagkakasakit.
Wow, I missed this...was back now, was silent for quite sometime because we went back to the Phil. due to a loss of our niece.
Glad to be back again.
correct!
by the way, please grab the tag here. have a blessed day!
For my frequent guest who definitely take time to read all my posts here, thank you SO very much!
nice information :)
I agree w/ you Rose.I don' care kung masira ang figure ng breast ko.Maybe one of the reason kung bakit hindi mga naging sakitin ang mga kiddos ko,except sa talagang malalabo ang mga mata nila.My husband starts to wear an eye glas when he was on his grade 2 as well as my kids lahat sila same age when they started to wear an eye glass ako naman during my high school maliban don hindi talaga sila naging masasakitin. And breast feeding is really best for babies.
It's such a beautiful moment :-) I have some breastfeeding photos too, it can be a good remembrance in the future.
My kid seldom gets sick too, no ear infection so far. *touch wood* XD
But i am still observing him whether he has sensitive skin or food allergy.
Thanks for your comment in our blog. Because of your comment, i found your wonderful blog here. :-)
Have a nice day!!!
