When I asked my husband what he wanted for Christmas in 2010, he told me that he really doesn't need anything but he would love if if he can have a GPS. That was what I gave to him and I am so thankful that he chose that for a gift because we always get lost whenever we are driving. Both of us have a terrible sense of direction so we really need to have a GPS.
Ever since we got the GPS, we have been traveling confidently without being lost. The photos below were taken on the 6th of June when we went to Kennywood Park for my husband's company's annual picnic.
They always enjoyed going to this Auto Race where they can drive around. This is my son's favorite as the ride is quite long and the place where they drive around is huge unlike other rides.
I am their biggest stalker ever. The smiles on their faces always bring me so much joy. One of the many perks of being a parent. I always thank God that He gave me this great opportunity to become a Mom.

Last year, our son rode with his Dad but this year he was independent and wanted to ride by himself.
I thank God for giving me a wonderful husband who can provide what our children needs and things to enjoy that I never experienced in my childhood.

Yes, the GPS is a necessary adjunct to your car. Its value is tremendous since it will prevent you from being lost while driving, especially on routes you are not familiar with. That was indeed one practical and necessary Christmas gift for your hubby. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.
It's so cute seeing them drive. Maybe they'll want a real car earlier than expected.
Yup, when driving in the US before, I noticed how people have maps in their cars and lots of GPS. Even my aunt would print a small map to take with her when she was touring us around LA. I found it very odd since in this modern day and age, GPS helps drivers to navigate without flipping through pages of maps which can be a hazard too.
It's nice you got to where you want to go with the help of the GPS. We took our GPS too with us when we rented a car in Niagara Falls. It was nice!
Your kids seem to have fun driving their mini cars LOL! Good training ground for their driving skills ;)
I would get lost in an instant without our GPS! And it'll come in handy when we finally get around to visit Kennywood too (it's been on our list for a couple years now).
I really want one for my car since I am horrible at directions lol I'll look into this one.
My hubs has a GPS for work & loves it. We use it all the time when we go places. Actually recently he let a co-worker borrow it & forgot to get it back before our trip to a friends wedding 3 hrs away & his phone was dieing while trying to use the gps on it. I had to hurry up & write down the last part of the trip so we wouldnt be stranded in the middle of nowhere! You really do not know how much you appreciate something until it's gone! LOL
Kelly, that's funny because we named our Glenda lol.
What a fun place to go for a picnic. You got some great pictures too.
Those pictures are awesome! So fun! It took me a while to convince my husband to get a GPS but now we love it!
I love my gps! I can't go anywhere without it. I'd be lost if I didn't have it. Looks like your kids had a great time! Sounds like fun.
