After we walked Rylie to school last Monday, EJ and I did some gardening at the backyard. I planted some hibiscus on the left corner of our fence.
I did not have any brick to mark it and spare it from being weed whacked by hubby so I took some of the pile of the apples that fell on the ground and used it around the plant. I am not sure if its a good thing but that was my initial thought when I saw the apples hehehe.
My little helper volunteered to water the plants after we arranged the apples around it. Thank you so much EJ!
It's a great feeling when your kids love to help you for what you are doing most of the time. I hope that they would still do it when they are grown up already hehehe.
Have a great week ahead everyone, enjoy your labor day!

kakatuwa nmn apples, d2 super expensive, jan pang mark lng ng plant. lol..
how nice that you had a great helper for this. The apples is a great idea
I think using the apples that way is a great idea! They will help fertilize the soil around the hibiscus as they decompose. This is the second hibiscus post I have read this morning, I may have to order one or two...
Sipag ng helper mo. :)
Happily, you have him at home all day for a couple of years. Yet, after hearing stories of school from Rylie, he will be ready when the time comes. Now though, he is still a helper!
That's very clever! :)
hope i have wings to fly and picked those apples...
what a great idea.
what a wonderful idea! I LOVE IT!! darling photos!
Beautiful post! i enjoyed your idea, and wonder if you pick the apples up later or let them rot to fertilize your plants?
It's so cute for your EJ to help. You did great in training your child.
Blessings!
Heh, I've had hibiscus on the brain too, since they are blooming so wonderfully this year. Good RT idea, your apples! And how sweet to have a little helper.

Daming apples! hehehe, Good idea rose that you're using them as fertilizers. Probably, i-rorot mo muna kunti first bago ilagay sa roots sa Hibiscus mo. Hmmm, anyhow, I'm looking forward to see your hibiscus someday.
I wonder if the apples rotting would attract bad bugs, but they look marvelous!
