Nostalgia # 26 - Community Service

Hello everyone, I am sorry for not posting my nostalgia soon. I got caught up with my laundry downstairs. Our washer is acting up and it was pissing me off. I woke up very early today to do it but until now am still doing it wahhhhh... I don't know if this thing could still be fixed but I am hoping that it will as we don't have budget for it just yet.

Back to Nostalgia, my entry is about the community service that we are required to do before we graduate in college. I went to a catholic school so we have this subject that I don't think exist in the public school, the Theology class. We are required to take theology 1 up to 6, we actually have a separate graduation day for it wahhhh. Before you can graduate from Theology, you have to render a community service or outreach program from different establishments in the area. My friends and I chose to do it at MSWD.  It's a social welfare and development where they take care of natural calamities and other stuff.  We used to help the evacuees in Anislag when the Mayon volcano  erupted.

Anyhow, before I bore you to death, these are  my friends whom I work with in MSWD.  All of us are married already except the one in gray shirt.  Thanks once again everyone for joining.  Let's keep the ball rolling and visit one another  so we would  know each other a little better.

Now, this puts me into a nostalgic mood too. I used to volunteer to teach Catechism in a public school just to get high grades in Theology. It really paid off cause I was always exempted from taking the final exams for the hwole 4 years of College, which meant my grades were always an A....Christine

I hope John can fix your washing machine otherwise you will be forced to buy a new one. That's the beauty of being in the Phils. Fixing busted appliances will not cost you much. And our technicians can fix almost anything. You probably have wonderful memories of your community service stints with your classmates in college. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.
