I asked my husband to buy me some marbles at Dollar Tree for my Christmas project at home and he found this pack of Christmas decor.
He bought it for our daughter who love doing this kind of stuff but we all ended up doing it.Even the little burrito was so into it. The kit was only a dollar.
The kit had 8 glass/plastic ornaments, a set of four colors of paint, and a paint brush.
We borrowed three more paint brushes from my SIL so we could all paint. Thanks Chris!
We painted it at my FIl's house. We had so much fun painting the ornaments.A dollar worth of stuff brought us an enjoyable bonding moment.
We hanged them at our new Christmas tree today.

Awe, they turned out very pretty. Even if the kit only costed a dollar, what it really bought was time spent together on a project as a family.
Always fun to watch kids having fun and they can be so creative! Lovely, fun shots for the day, Rose! Enjoy your weekend!

Children all have that creativity in their being, they want to express it. So, this ornament kit is the spark they needed to express it. They are so industrious, the care they take in their painting is so easy to see. The work they did is great and they will be so proud to see it in the tree. Nice family time!
oh that looks like fun!
i wish i had beautiful kids like U.
A great bargain, and a perfect bonding experience. So good for all of you!

Hi Rose! I'm quite amazed at what a fine job even the smallest in your family did on these ornaments. I remember painting similar "stained glass" ornaments with my son & daughter mannnnnny years ago. There was even something like this when I was a kiddo! Ahhhh memories. Happy SSS to you.
Great pictures and fabulous idea for craft time! :D

It so much fun to be with little ones as they are so naturally creative. Such lovely memories these ornaments will bring you each year. :)
I'd love to do that too!
Have a great week ahead!
Fun times without spending a lot are the best! These really came out well, everyone can be proud of their creation!
Bonding moment is priceless, dear systah, right?
It doesn't mean that you have cheap things but the presence and true hearts are there, that count the most.
Nakaka-tuwa ang mga bata ano? Dagku na jud. Enjoy every minute with them coz time flies too quick. Lear from my experiences.
Oh sya! ingat din & hugs always.

These have the makings of a family heirloom since you all worked on them together while they were still so young. :)
Spinning Lovely Days
The family that paints together stays together, lol. Just imagine what a dollar can do to have such great bonding experience for your entire family and you end up having eight adorable Christmas decors for your Christmas tree. How can you beat that? John had wisdom and vision when he bought that stuff knowing the great bonding moment it will bring to your whole family. Thanks for the bonding post. God bless you all always.
Wow, this is fun to make for the whole family. I will check it out here if I can get this stuff. I am sure my kids would love do it. Ganda tingnan nga mga buritos mo, concentrate talaga sila sa kanilang ginagawa.
oh, I haven't done that forever! I use to do that with my kids as well - anything with paintbrushes was tops on their list of to do! Looks like all had a great time - not too late to go back and get more - ha!!
Enjoy your week ahead!
