Remembering Dave
Hubby and I were talking about his late brother the other night, it's been a year since he passed and my husband is still in the grieving process. He misses him especially when he has to ask someone about cars and other mechanical stuff. One of his favorite past time is to go fishing while smoking his cigar. We misses my BIL so much, he was a very loving and happy individual. Too bad, the deadly cancer took him early. When I see this discount davidoff cigars online, it reminds me of him. In fact, we kept one of his cigars in a memory box as a remembrance of one of his visits here at our home. We miss you Dave!

Missile Landmark
A quick snap I took during our last few travels in South Korea. I wasn't sure if this is in Masan but I always want to take a photo of this one. It's hard to get a good shot though when you are traveling in a car. Taken using a point and shoot Sony cybershot. Our travels in South Korea left a huge impact in our lives. Thanks to my husband's last tour in the Navy, we got to enjoy it before he retired.

Seorak San in South Korea
These photos were taken three years ago when my husband and I celebrated our sixth wedding anniversary at Mt. Seorak in South Korea. Korean called it Seorak San so I am guessing that San is the term for mountain.
With some of the Koreans we met at the place. We rode a cable car in going to the top of the mountain. We learned our lesson when we first climbed the Mt. Jiri with kids in tow, we did not finish the hike.
We had a blast out there.

Crazy Trolley
According to Kennywood website, the park was originally started as a trolley park. Crazy Trolley is a ride that would give you an opportunity to take a ride on a genuine trolley replica from days gone by. This trolley takes you off the ground and lowers you back down in a circular pattern. The good this is that parents can ride with their children.
I am not fond of heights so I was contented just to watch them have fun and take photos of them. Was also glad that the queue to this one was not long.ABC Wednesday, Blue Monday, Mellow Yellow

Reminiscing Jeju Island
These are some photos of our last vacation in South Korea. We went for an island hopping in Jejudo or Jeju Island.
I can't download photos at my hubby's PC so I am using the old photos that is stored in his hard drive.
It's fun to reminisce the happy memories we had when we were living in the Land of the Morning Calm, the Republic of Korea.
Cities you never thought to visit in the UK
Whether
you live in the UK and are planning on a holiday close to home, or you’re a
visitor looking for an unconventional holiday destination, here are a few
suggestions that might not have crossed your mind.
A city
that’s currently enjoying a rise in popularity is the capital of Wales, Cardiff. Visitor
numbers over the past decade or so have increased by more than 50% and it’s
easy to see why, with a host of fantastic tourist hotspots. The Millennium
Centre is a great venue for arts and theatre, offering a great bill of shows
for all the family, from well-loved musicals to stand-up comedy. The
nearby Cardiff Castle started life as a Roman garrison, and was later
transformed into a luxurious Victorian home in the 19th century, making it
a must-see attraction for history lovers.

If you
do like to be beside the seaside, then
Brighton is a fantastic choice for a short break. The tide
never fully comes in on the sprawling pebble beach, allowing for a great
range of pubs, clubs, coffee shops and art galleries to sit tucked under the
sea wall. Inland, there are the winding streets and alleys of the North Laines,
where you’ll find intriguing boutiques, bespoke jewelers and unique flea
markets to wander about. And of course, there’s always the famous Brighton Pier
for fairground rides and attractions.
The
entire city of Bath
is a UNESCO World Heritage site, which gives you some indication of its
historical value. Home to some of the country’s finest 18th century architecture
and wonderfully preserved ancient baths and a pump room, Bath is a city where
you can take a look backwards through time. It’s a small place, but you’ll find
more than enough restaurants and sights of interest for any length of stay.
The
historic maritime port of Bristol
is just a quick meander from the natural splendour of the Cotswolds, which are
also worth a visit – but with so much to do in town you might need to tear
yourself away. Tour the fresh food stalls in the medieval city, go shopping at
Cabot circus or see over 450 species of wildlife at the zoo gardens.

you go in the UK this year, an American Express credit card makes the ideal travel companion. With
exclusive membership rewards and great features like cash back and Refund
Protection, a credit card from American Express can help to make your money go
further.

House Hunters
We are not planning to move real soon but we keep looking on houses for sale in the area that fits our needs. We saw this house online and it is located in Colliers so we went for a drive to look at it. The scenery on the way to the house was gorgeous!
Here is the house, it is beautiful but it was way out in the sticks lol. The land that comes with the house was pretty big but the location is not good especially for the kids.
I don't like the quality of the photos I took with my point and shoot camera but hey, for a drive-by shots, I think it's okay.

Steel City Choppers
If your little ones love to ride on motorcycles, they can be little dare devils in the miniature motorcycles at Steel City Choppers attraction at Kennywood Park. The motorcycles go around the circle few times and they will get to to experience being a motorist.
Our Burritos love all of the rides that they tried at the said park. We are planning to go back there next year.
