Family Fun Day Playing Mini Golf at Jolly Roger

Jolly Roger is a big amusement park in Ocean City.  It was a walking distance from our hotel so  went there  many times  during our  family vacation in 2014.  We decided to celebrate our daughter's 9th birthday in Ocean City because they really want to  see and swim in the ocean.  

One of my favorites in Jolly Roger's is the Jungle Golf.  I never played mini golf before  so this was my first time although I did not really play that much since we let the kids enjoyed it.  

As you can see in the photo above, the ocean is not far from this amusement park.  

I was very surprised of how well the kids played.  They are so competitive so they played like it was a real competition lol. 

I love that  the setting is surrounded with  water features, it was very relaxing.

See my husband tallying their scores?  Our son made sure that he  made more points than her sister.

It was absolutely a fun day for all of us.  

I just wish that  the battery of my camera did not give up n me but it did.  Luckily I had  my iPhone which saved the day.  The quality of the photos aren't as good as the  DSLR but at least I managed to  capture the happy moments of my family in Ocean City.

My Husband's 46th Birthday

For the second day in a row, my kids  were off from school.  We have been having severe weather  here at our neck of the woods so school cancellation is pretty normal.  I was glad too that they were off for two days because my kids caught  some cold last Sunday when we went to church without gloves and hats on.  They were able to recuperate  and now doing much better.  I kept them hydrated and  fed them soup for the last couple of days.  

Anyway, I was super glad that they were off again today because today is my husband's 46th birthday.  They were able to do things for their Dad.

 We used empty wine bottles to write "Happy Birthday Dad".  Every letter has one word that describes my husband.

(HAPPY) -  Happy, Artistic, Patriotic, Passionate, YouRock!

 (BIRTHDAY) - Beefy, Intelligent, Responsible, Truthful, Helpful, Delightful, Assertive, You're-So-Sweet!

 (DAD) - Dedicated, Awesome, Darling

 And here are my partner in crime who helped me decorate, cooked, and they also  performed by playing piano for their Dad.

It was a simple celebration but glad that we were able to   pull it off.  I was impressed that my son was able to play a tune for his Dad.  He's been to his  piano lesson twice this month and  he is getting good already.

Happy birthday  Hon, may God always bless you and take care of you while you're at work and driving on the road.  Thank you for all your hard work and dedication just to provide for us.  We love you  so much!

Nautical Nature and Camaro

We regretted that we did not  go on a tour  via  Nautical Nature when we were at Morraine Park.  It could have been one relaxing boat ride.  We chose not to go because the kids wants to participate in the activities where there are other kids.  

When you are raveling with kids, it's what they want that matters and not what we want.  I am glad we stayed thou0gh because they had a blast.

 My husband also had the chance to check out one of his favorite  car, the Camaro.

Shadow Shots

 It's awesome how children could just instantly clicks whenever they find something that they both like.  My son was playing with the  toy cars on display and this kids came and they  talked like they knew each other.

 I wonder when can we  go back there again.  We still have a lot of things to explore there.  I just wish that it's not far so we could visit often.

We had a limited time  during our first visit to Morraine Park but we had so much fun!

Online Classes for Master's Degree

My husband has been busy doing his online classes during weekends and when he gets off from work. I feel bad when he is super tired from work but still has to go online and do his homework. I bought him a laptop for his birthday this month, gave it to him in advance so he could use it. He needs 36 credits for his masters to complete and he only takes 6 credits every semester. This is his second semester so he still have 4 more semesters left.

I am glad that the company he works for pays 90% of his tuition and he also has a scholarship grant from  Duquesne University as a military veteran.  All he pays for in  taking his  Master's degree  is his books.
