With the hustle and bustle of everyday routine in the family life, it is hard to find time to go out with friends sometimes. Luckily, one of the Moms in our daughter's class had this brilliant idea to organize a bowling night out. That's what we all did on the first week of February. Our children's school is going through some big changes and we needed some time out to get together and have fun.
We went to Steel Valley Bowling Center with the other parents and we all had the blast. We let the kids bowl and the adults had the chance to catch up and talk. It's been a while since we all got together so it was a great night not just for the kids but for us parents as well.
Somebody suggested that we should do this once a month and we thought it was a great idea. I like bowling and I want to learn how to play it and be good at it. It is something that I enjoy aside from playing tennis with my kids. I think it would be great if we can all do this once a month, it would be a nice breather for all of us.
It would be awesome if this bowling alley would offer a lesson. I am sure that a lot of people would take advantage of it since it is a fun sport to play with friends and family. There might be lessons offered but I am not sure, I will have to inquire about it.
The organizer, our dearest friend Rose. She is also the homeroom Mom for ou r 6th grade class. It is great to have a close and tight-knit school community. Parents get along well and you can tell that everyone cares for every child. Thank you Rose for thinking of this idea.
Here's the 6th graders busy scoring. Some of them are really good.
One of the Moms also brought a cookie cake which everyone ate for snacks during the break.
All the Moms had fun bonding the with the youngest bowler in the group. Before everyone left, we took some group pictures of the kids and parents as well.
While the parents were busy taking pictures of the kids, I snapped a shot of them too.
Glad everybody had so much fun even for such a short time.
It's very rare to have the parent's picture taken so I am glad we had this opportunity.
Holding the little baby makes me want a another baby at home lol. She was such a chill and great baby to have around.
I think my husband turn off the flash on that last shot, it's kind of blurry but the smiles says it all, we have a lot of FUN that night. I hope that we could do this again sometime next month.
